ASSISTED LIVING

There are 2 application processes for Terrace East Assisted Living:

1

Private Pay Assisted Living Residents who pay privately for the full cost of Assisted Living qualify through an application and assessment directly with Menno Apartments. When an apartment suite is soon to be available, you’ll receive a call from us to book your assessment. You’ll meet directly with our nursing team to talk about your care needs. Couples are required to fill out an application for each person.

2

Fraser Health Subsidized Assisted Living Seniors with low to moderate incomes may qualify for a Fraser Health subsidy equal to 70% of their most recent year’s after-tax income. Call Fraser Health directly at 1-855-412-2121 to set up an assessment of your needs. Let them know you are interested in living at Menno Apartments: Terrace East. Fraser Health will direct your next steps. All waitlist inquiries will go through Fraser Health. Fraser Health Subsidized Assisted Living applications and waitlists are separate from Menno Place Private Pay Assisted Living.

CAN I APPLY FOR

LONG-TERM CARE?

All Long-Term Care admissions are arranged through Fraser Health. Choice is accommodated whenever possible, but urgent admissions usually go to the first available space in the region. If residents wish to move after admission, they may put their name on a transfer waitlist for another home. Contact Fraser Health at 1-855-412-2121 for an assessment.
